What You’ll Do
  • Perform routine and specialized transfusion compatibility testing, including ABO/Rh typing, antibody screening, and crossmatching
  • Prepare blood components for transfusion in a busy Blood Bank setting
  • Conduct antibody identification using tube methods and electronic crossmatch procedures
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of laboratory results
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in a high-volume transfusion laboratory
  • Support pediatric and adult patient transfusion needs with precision and professionalism

What You Need
  • Current ASCP-MLS or ASCP-BB certification required; MLT candidates with Blood Bank experience may be considered with additional certifications
  • Experience with specimen processing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and blood component prep preferred
  • Ability to work independently on the night shift in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
