AS THE MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN, you will be responsible for performing testing in the laboratory and verifying quality control procedures used, while under the direction of the Medical Technologist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• COMPLETION OF A MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN PROGRAM REQUIRED
• REGISTRY HELD WITH AMT/ASCP WITHIN ONE YEAR OF HIRE
• GOOD REASONING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH THE ABILITY TO MULTI TASK
• COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED
• IF YOU HOLD A CERTIFICATE THAT DOES NOT EXPIRE-YOU MUST BE A MEMBER WITH EITHER ASCP OR AMT. IF YOU ARE ON A -MAINTENANCE PROGRAM WITH EXPIRATION -- YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE A MEMBER BUT MUST MAINTAIN YOUR CERTIFICATION
