Looking for a new laboratory opportunity? A healthcare organization in Chapel Hill is seeking an experienced MLS to support its clinical laboratory team.
Position Highlights
Full-time laboratory opportunity
Perform CLIA-defined testing and advanced laboratory procedures
Work independently while serving as a technical resource
Blood Bank responsibilities including Type & Screen, Antibody ID, DAT, eluates, phenotyping & antigen typing
Experience with MTP, emergency release, irradiation & product modifications
Perform QC, proficiency testing, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance
Opportunities to train new employees and teach students
Participate in special projects and process improvement
What We're Looking For
MLS/MT: Bachelor’s in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science + ASCP/AMT certification
Experience requirements vary by education/certification pathway
Strong Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine experience
Able to work independently and make sound technical decisions
