Medical Laboratory Scientist

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist/ Medical Laboratory Technician to support our client's medical facility in following cities, Irving, TX. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our client's laboratory team in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience performing high-complexity laboratory testing while maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance with laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-complexity laboratory testing and specimen analysis.
• Process, analyze, and accurately report patient test results.
• Perform quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), instrument calibration, and maintenance.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety guidelines.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and testing records.
• Report STAT and critical results according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot testing issues and document corrective actions.
• Participate in training, inspections, and departmental meetings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related laboratory science.
• MLT applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience required.

Additional Information:

• Location: Irving, TX
• Job Type: 13-week contract
• Pay Range: $35 - $40 (Hourly)
• Shifts: 2nd Shift - Sun through Thu, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
• Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
