Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician to support our client’s medical facility in following cities,
Irving, TX. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our client’s laboratory team in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience performing high-complexity laboratory testing while maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance with laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform high-complexity laboratory testing and specimen analysis.
- Process, analyze, and accurately report patient test results.
- Perform quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), instrument calibration, and maintenance.
- Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety guidelines.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and testing records.
- Report STAT and critical results according to established procedures.
- Troubleshoot testing issues and document corrective actions.
- Participate in training, inspections, and departmental meetings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related laboratory science.
- MLT applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience required.
Additional Information:
- Location: Irving, TX
- Job Type: 13-week contract
- Pay Range: $35 - $40 (Hourly)
- Shifts: 2nd Shift – Sun through Thu, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
