Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist

The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic testing duties in accordance with CLIA 1988 standards. Duties include specimen collection, processing, test reporting, quality control, and equipment maintenance. The role also involves teaching and training responsibilities, as well as participation in performance improvement activities.

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related science required
• Certification as a Medical Technologist ASCP, CLS (NCA), or equivalent is mandatory
• Minimum of 1+ years of recent experience in Blood Bank in an acute care hospital lab setting
