- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare-related field, with or without direct reports.
- A bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, a health care-related field, or equivalent experience; or at least 6 years of relevant medical technology/clinical laboratory experience.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
- A detail-oriented professional who values quality, compliance, and service excellence.
- In-patient experience required
Extremly preferred: certification in medical laboratory science, medical technology, phlebotomy, histology, quality, or related specialties
- Lead and support daily preanalytical laboratory operations, including specimen collection, processing, workflow coordination, and quality standards
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a positive work environment
- Support compliance with laboratory policies, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and internal quality expectations.
- Help improve processes, resolve operational issues, and remove barriers that affect performance, service, or turnaround time
- Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen lab quality, patient safety, and operational excellence.
- Assist with training, competency monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
