Medical Laboratory Technician

Experience:

•  2+ years of recent Medical Lab Technician experience required.

License:

• Active Compact or State License required at time of submission.

Certifications:

•  BLS, ASCP

Must-Have:

• Knowledge of hospital clinical laboratory operations.
• Experience with arterial blood gas and cardiac enzymes.
• Proficiency in hormone/thyroid testing and therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Skills in specimen collection, receipt, and transport.
• Ability to report test results accurately.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and controls.

Description:

• Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer.
• Unexpired driver's license required
• Travelers must be willing to accept an 84-hour work schedule per two weeks.
• RTO must be presented upfront, and no changes will be accepted.
• Two references are required; one must be a charge or higher, and one must be a supervisor reference.
• Both references must be completed within the last year.
• Background policy requires submission of any licensing hits or background check issues upfront.
