Maintains responsibility for specimen processing, test performance, test result reporting, clerical and patient care support services with a high level of accuracy, precision and timeliness while ensuring compliance with Cliental and regulatory agency standards. Works in two or more laboratory sections, including processing, phlebotomy, and microbiology setups depending upon laboratory needs. Works under the supervision of a Laboratory Supervisor, and in their absence, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS). Examines and interprets test results to identify abnormal including blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, toxicology and urinalysis.
