Certifications/ Licences:
- CLS or MT (ASCP) or equivalent
- New MT Graduate must pass certification exam.
- Bachelor’s degree (or Associates Degree for grandfathered personnel)
- Position is a 7 on 7 off position working Wednesday-Tuesday on your week to work.
- Shift is 7 AM to 730 PM. Will be Every Other Weekend during the week you work. Holidays will be worked if it is your scheduled shift week. Overtime is earned at >80 hours a pay period.
- Ability to work independently is required.
- Certification is also required.
- Medical Laboratory
- Technician – Must have graduated from an approved school of Medical
- Technology/Laboratory Science with an Associate’s degree and be certified/registered by one of the following agencies: MLT(ASCP), MLT(AMT), CLT(NCA).
- Medical Technologist –
- Must have graduated from an approved school of Medical Technology/Laboratory
- Science with a bachelor’s degree and be certified/registered by one of the following agencies: MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), CLS(NCA).
- Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards.
