Job Description

Additional Hospital Information & Who We are Looking For:

Medical Lead Veterinarian - All Paws Animal Hospital | St. Louis Park, MN

  • Interest In: Small-animal general practice in an AAHA-accredited, full-service veterinary hospital providing exceptional medicine through wellness and preventative care, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, urgent care, pain management, and client education. The hospital is equipped to manage everything from routine wellness visits to more advanced medical and surgical cases, allowing doctors to practice comprehensive, high-quality medicine every day as the Medical Lead Veterinarian with support.
  • Medical Lead / Experienced Veterinarian: We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Lead role within our collaborative, well-established hospital. This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing outstanding medicine while serving as the clinical leader for the hospital. Approximately 80-90% of your time will be spent practicing medicine, with the remaining 10-20% focused on leading clinical excellence, guiding medical standards, and partnering with hospital leadership to continue elevating patient care and team success.
  • Exceptional Bonus & Compensation Potential: This opportunity offers an extremely competitive compensation package with significant bonus potential, allowing experienced leaders to be rewarded for both their clinical excellence and hospital success. If you're looking for a leadership opportunity where your impact is recognized and rewarded, we'd love to tell you more.
  • Supportive, Experienced Technical Staff: Practice alongside a highly skilled, compassionate support team committed to exceptional patient care. Our technicians and support staff are heavily utilized in diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, surgery, treatments, and client communication, allowing doctors to focus on practicing efficient, high-quality medicine while enjoying excellent work-life balance.
  • Layout & Facility Highlights: AAHA-accredited, modern hospital equipped with advanced in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, surgical and dental suites, comprehensive treatment areas, and state-of-the-art equipment designed to support progressive medicine. Our investment in technology and patient care allows our doctors to confidently practice both routine and advanced medicine.
  • Collaborative Leadership Environment: As Medical Lead, you'll partner closely with hospital leadership to support medical protocols, champion clinical quality, guide best practices, and help cultivate an environment centered around teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. This is a leader-of-medicine role, not a heavy administrative position, allowing you to remain hands-on clinically while helping shape the future of the hospital.
  • Patient Mix: A rewarding small-animal caseload primarily consisting of dogs and cats, with an excellent variety of wellness visits, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, diagnostics, and advanced medical cases. The diversity of the caseload provides opportunities to continue developing clinical interests while practicing comprehensive medicine every day.

  • Lead by example, modeling outstanding medicine, teamwork, efficiency, and patient advocacy.
