Licensed Massage Therapist — Deep Tissue, Clinical & Sports Rehab
Cottage Grove, Wisconsin | Full-Time or Part-Time | Immediate Client Demand
You became a massage therapist because you wanted to help people—not race through an assembly line of identical appointments.
Symmetry and Balance Wellness Hub is growing, and we are looking for a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist who enjoys therapeutic, results-focused work. We have an established clinic, an experienced collaborative team, and clients actively seeking deeper-pressure, pain-relief, injury-recovery, and functional bodywork.
We are especially interested in therapists with strength in one or more of the following:
- Deep tissue and firm-pressure massage
- Sports massage and injury rehabilitation
- Trigger point or neuromuscular therapy
- Myofascial release
- Functional movement or corrective exercise
- Clinical treatment planning
- Personal training, mobility, or rehabilitation experience
You do not need to practice every modality. We want to know what you do exceptionally well—and help the right clients find you.
Why Join Symmetry and Balance?
You will not be expected to build an entire practice alone.
Our clinic provides:
- Immediate opportunity to build a meaningful caseload
- Established clients and community referral relationships
- Scheduling, marketing, and administrative support
- Furnished treatment space, linens, supplies, and a professional clinic environment
- A collaborative team of massage therapists, a clinic director and coach, and an on-site physical therapy partner
- Flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time possibilities
- Opportunities for continuing education, collaboration, teaching, and future leadership
- A workplace where clinical judgment, professional boundaries, and sustainable workloads matter
- Employee wellness benefits and service discounts
Earning potential: $325–$500 per fully booked treatment day, depending on schedule, appointment length, experience, and level placement.
What You’ll Do
- Provide customized therapeutic massage based on each client’s goals, health history, and presentation
- Assess soft-tissue restrictions, movement patterns, range of motion, and treatment response within the massage-therapy scope of practice
- Create thoughtful, individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clear and timely SOAP notes
- Communicate with clients about treatment goals, progress, self-care, and appropriate referrals
- Collaborate with our clinical team when coordinated care would benefit the client
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, clean, and professional treatment environment
- Help clients feel seen, respected, safe, and powerful in their own healing
What We’re Looking For
- Current Wisconsin Massage Therapist or Bodywork Therapist license, or eligibility to receive one promptly
- Strong anatomy, physiology, pathology, and contraindication knowledge
- Confidence providing therapeutic, clinical, or deeper-pressure massage
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- Reliable documentation, punctuality, and professional boundaries
- Ability to provide bodywork safely and sustainably
- Genuine interest in collaboration, continued learning, and whole-person care
Clinical experience is preferred, but we will consider a newer therapist who demonstrates exceptional hands-on ability, sound judgment, maturity, and a strong desire to grow.
