What You’ll Do & Bring

As a Patient Services Specialist (PSS), you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients—delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth front-office operations and a welcoming patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients, families, and community partners
  • Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and manage patient flow using EHR systems
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
  • Assist patients with registration, forms, and understanding visit requirements
  • Communicate clearly via phone and in person, routing messages appropriately
  • Collect and reconcile payments, co-pays, and cash drawer transactions
  • Address patient concerns with professionalism and escalate when needed

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with office equipment and scheduling systems
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient care
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish
  • Preferred: Experience in a medical or dental front office setting
