Loyola University Medical Center, Department of Radiation Oncology, seeks a highly motivated Medical Physicist to join the dynamic faculty at the main campus. This is a full-time faculty appointment, with academic rank and compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will join a group consisting of nine medical physicists who have clinical responsibilities throughout our network in brachytherapy, SRS/SBRT, TBI, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified (or Board Eligible) with a PhD in Medical Physics or related field, and a strong clinical background in Radiation Oncology Physics.

The ideal candidate qualifications:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) with a PhD in Medical Physics or related field
- Strong clinical background in Radiation Oncology Physics.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to solve problems and to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to teaching physics and medical residents, medical physics residents, and medical physics graduate students (MS level)
- Development of independent research projects.
