Role OverviewProvides medical physics testing, annual equipment certifications, radiation safety quality assurance, and regulatory compliance oversight for diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine suites (X-Ray, CT, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, MRI, Ultrasound, DEXA).
Candidate Requirements- Degree: Master’s in Medical Physics, Health Physics, or related STEM discipline.
- Board Certification: Active ABR or ABMP Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiological Physics.
- Accreditations: ACR/FDA Mammography qualified; accredited for CT, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and lead construction.
- Equipment: Must supply own phantoms and specialized testing tools.
- Security: Ability to pass a VA NACI/NACLC background screening.
- Location: San Francisco Bay Area proximity preferred for rapid emergency dispatch.
