EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduate Degree in Physics or similar field of study (PhD preferred). Prior work with applications such as MOSAIQ, RaySearch, Pinnacle, Monaco, MIM, Sun Nuclear applications is preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Graduate degree from a CAMPEP-accredited institution with certificate is preferred.

Medical Physics Resident will undergo two years of structured hands-on clinical training and didactic courses covering all aspects of radiation oncology physics. Residents will participate in general clinical coverage of our clinical systems; VMAT/IMRT, IGRT, SBRT/SRS, HDR/LDR, TBI/TSE and Gamma Knife. This position requires a medical physics PhD individual who has excellent interpersonal skills, strong motivation in clinical medical physics, IT experience, and a desire to work in a dynamic environment. This position will rotate amongst our academic medical center, located at the Winston campus which has 4 linear accelerators, a Gamma Knife center that delivers >400 treatments a year, a state-of-the-art dedicated brachytherapy suite, GE wide-bore CT, PET/CT and 3T MRI scanners all located and staffed within the department - GE AW workstations, MIM, MOSAIQ, and multiple radiation treatment planning systems, and our community-based hospitals, and the Levine Cancer Institute at Advocate Health, at all times under the direct supervision of an experienced board-certified clinical medical physicist.
