Primary Function: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position is a field-based position with territorial responsibility for growth of current and prospective accounts within the medical plastic components industry. The RSM will be measured primarily by the revenue growth for a specified territory, an opportunity portfolio, project management as well as contribution to corporate EBITDA. This position will be responsible for the growth of all plastic product lines within the corporate portfolio, which include plastic compounds and polymer distribution. He/she achieves desirable results through the performance of the Foster core business sales team (Application Development Engineer and Inside sales). His/her key sales driver is “opportunity build” and business closure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or 1-3 years of related experience. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Language/Communication Skills:
Computer Skills: Must be proficient using system programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Other Required Ability: Must have good reasoning ability as described below.

Travel Expectations: Frequent travel is needed for this role to visit customers and trade show participation. Telework Conditions: The ideal candidate will be expected to perform a substantial amount of travel (50 - 80% of the time) within their specified territory for customer site visits.
