About the Role
Bethesda Medical Associates is seeking an experienced Medical Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our exceptional, membership-model primary care practice. In this role, you will provide the leadership our staff and physicians need to deliver the highest quality patient experience — leading our non-physician team with an exemplary work ethic and close attention to detail, and working closely with our physicians on a routine basis. This is an in-person position.
What You'll Do

Manage incoming calls and patient flow to ensure an efficient, customer-friendly experience.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail in every customer interaction, minimizing errors and ensuring a consistently positive experience.
Foster a collaborative, positive work culture and a strong sense of accountability across the office.
Address and resolve patient inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated patient issues, ensuring resolution to the patient’s satisfaction.
Develop guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluate effectiveness, and adjust as needed; ensure appropriate staffing levels and monitor attendance.
Support physician scheduling and coverage.
Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, development, and evaluation of support staff.
Oversee and approve office supply inventory; ensure mail is processed and the office is opened/closed per procedure.
Uphold established policies, procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee revenue cycle management to optimize billing and collections, reporting results in a timely manner.
With support from accounting, build budgets and manage accounts payable, payroll, insurance policies, and other financial matters in coordination with outsourced accountants.
Partner with physician leadership on innovative practice growth and quality initiatives that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve office operations and customer service delivery.
Use software, spreadsheets, ADP, and Microsoft Office; experience with Athena Electronic Health Record is a plus.
