Description \n \nLocation: Medical Practice Technician Full-time opportunities with our ambulatory care sites in Highlands Ranch.\n \nDepartment: Positions available in primary care and specialty care clinics. \n \nWork Schedule: Full Time, various shifts available\n \nPay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour. As you gain experience and expertise, you will have the opportunity to move through different levels of this career ladder. \n \nAt UCHealth, We Improve Lives\n \nMPT:\n \nMedical Practice Technician performs routine clinical or administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.\n \nMinimum Requirements:\n \nOther information:\n \nMinimum Required Education: HS Diploma or GED.\n \nRequired Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Current State Licensure as an EMT, or EMT-I.\n \nMinimum Experience: None required.\n \nCredentials:\n \nEssential:\n\n Basic Life Support\n Emergency Medical Technician\n \nBLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. \n \nResponsibilities:\n \nUnder the direction and supervision of a provider or nurse, assists with performing patient care.\n \nPerforms basic clinical skills and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient conditions. Documents patient care provided.\n \nMaintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
