A busy outpatient radiology department in Syracuse, NY is looking for a Medical Radiologic Technologist to join a collaborative team focused on high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers broad hands-on experience across general radiography, DEXA, and C-arm OR imaging — making it an excellent fit for both experienced technologists and new graduates ready to launch their careers.

Your Day-to-Day
Review and interpret physician orders accurately under department supervision
Position patients and apply immobilization devices to ensure diagnostic image quality
Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure settings for optimal results
Perform general radiography, DEXA imaging, and C-arm assistance in the OR
Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic completeness prior to submission
Apply ALARA principles through proper collimation, shielding, and exposure techniques to protect patients and staff
Maintain sterile technique during OR C-arm procedures
Work within PACS, RIS, and EMS systems to support efficient department operations
Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed
Keep work areas stocked and ready; collaborate with the broader radiology team
What We're Looking For
Required
Associate's Degree in Medical Radiography
Current ARRT certification and registration
Active state licensure as required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Additional specialty certification may be required depending on assigned area
Preferred
1–2+ years of radiologic technologist experience
Outpatient radiology background
Familiarity with OR imaging and C-arm procedures
