Medical Receptionist

CenterWell is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced candidates with Medical Receptionist experience who are interested in growing with the company and being a part of something great!

Medical Receptionist Role Overview:

The Medical Receptionist operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. Takes and distributes accurate messages. Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment
  • Experience with MS Outlook
  • Basic Computer knowledge
  • 1-year professional experience as a Medical Receptionist in 'front-office' direct patient care contact
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business need
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HEDIS
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Previous experience in a geriatric setting

Medical Receptionist Working hours:

Scheduled 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM

Local travel may be required; Mileage is reimbursed

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$38,000 - $45,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
