Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Medical Receptionist for a healthcare organization in Beverly Hills, CA. This is an exciting full-time, temporary opportunity working fully onsite.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Medical Receptionist will serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy medical office. This position will manage patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, insurance verification, phone communication, and accurate patient records. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer and route incoming calls while providing professional and courteous assistance to patients

• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits

• Welcome patients and manage the check-in and check-out process

• Verify insurance information, collect co-pays, and assist with basic billing-related questions

• Maintain accurate patient records, including scanning, filing, and updating documentation

• Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming front desk and reception area

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare, or front desk environment

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretion

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This temporary position offers $25.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits for temporary employees may include medical, dental, vision, and other benefits based on eligibility.
