    Job Title: Medical Receptionist

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Shift: Mon-Fri, day shift and evenings

    Location: 4595 New Falls Rd, Levittown, PA 19056

    Position Purpose

    The medical receptionist is responsible for servicing all areas and completing all tasks related to the front desk area of a physician practice. As client facing professionals, this position plays a key role in representing the practice in the community.

    As a Medical Receptionist, you will:

    • Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
    • Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
    • Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
    • Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
    • 1+ year of physician office experience (preferred)
