- MVPT Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. Monday-Friday full-time. At MVPT Physical Therapy - North Triphammer Road, we utilize a hands-on approach coupled with functional and evidence-based techniques to help patients restore function and ensure a speedy and healthy recovery. Our expert physical therapists offer a wide variety of services such as cupping, manual therapy, pre-surgical rehab, and more. A few different specialties offered at the clinic include balance and gait disorders, chronic pain, pediatric sports injuries, work injuries, and more. The clinic is conveniently located at the corner of Graham Road and North Triphammer Road with ample parking and access to shopping.
What You''ll Do
- Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service
- Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and explain patient financial responsibilities
- Manage patient intake forms and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and insurance approvals
- Support clinic operations and maintain efficient schedules
- Assist with billing, payments, and administrative tasks
What We''re Looking For
- Experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or front desk role required
- Knowledge of insurance verification and patient financial responsibilities preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
