Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking experienced Medical Receptionists for temporary and temp-to-hire opportunities in the Pasadena/Burbank/Glendale, California areas. As a Medical Receptionist, individuals will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front office experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with medical office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
- Coordinate with medical staff to support daily operations
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous medical front desk or medical receptionist experience
- Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems
- Familiarity with insurance verification and referrals
Required Work Hours
The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility depending on the needs of the healthcare organization.
