A recognized health services organization in New York is seeking a new Medical Receptionist for a promising Per Diem opportunity at a few of their facilities in Madison County.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Various shifts depending on location
Schedule: April-November (Per Diem coverage on specific dates)
Hours: Shift hours vary by location
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients professionally and timely manner
Perform patient registration and ensure accurate information
Schedule appointments and manage calendars
Answer phones and route calls appropriately
Collect co-pays and process payments
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience as a Medical Receptionist and/or similar role in a Clinic setting
High School Diploma / GED
Medical receptionist or outpatient clinic experience
Experience with scheduling and insurance verification
Proficient in patient-facing communication
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks
