Medical Receptionist
Location: Riverhead, NY Pay: $21 per hour Schedule: Full-time
HumanHire is partnering with an established medical practice in Riverhead to hire a Medical Receptionist. This position supports daily front-office operations, including patient check-in, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist patients.
Schedule patient appointments.
Verify insurance coverage.
Enter and update patient demographics.
Retrieve and file medical charts.
Assist the office manager and physicians as needed.
Qualifications:
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Medical office experience and knowledge of medical insurance preferred.
Epic experience is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Schedule:
Monday: 8:00am4:30pm
Tuesday: 9:30am6:00pm
Wednesday: 8:30am5:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am4:30pm
Friday: 8:30am5:00pm
Saturdays, 12 per month: 7:30am11:30am
Schedule is subject to change based on physician schedules.
