Medical Receptionist

Functional Medicine/Family Practice office seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist. This is a full time position in a small friendly office, with staggered work hours. Excellent customer service, ability to multitask, and good communication skills are key.

Responsibilities include:

Scheduling appointments

Responding to patient calls

Prior authorizations

Insurance verification

Processing payments

Sending new pharmacy prescriptions and refills

Supplement sales

Scanning and faxing

Preparing charts for patient visits

Filing lab and other reports

Filing and preparing charts

Perform other related duties

Ability to room patients and back office skills are a plus

Crossroads In Health is a Functional Medicine practice, which offers a different, and interesting work environment. Patient visits are lengthy, so the daily volume is low.
