What You'll Do
Join our dynamic team as a Medical Receptionist, where you'll be the friendly face and supportive voice that creates a welcoming atmosphere for all patients, families, visitors, and staff! You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth administrative operations across our site, all while keeping the energy positive and professional.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Optimize provider schedules and enhance patient satisfaction by expertly managing appointments and rescheduling with ease.
- Answer and transfer calls and voicemails with grace, while greeting patients, families, guests, and staff in a warm, customer-friendly manner.
- Review and collect the necessary forms and identification for patient appointments, making sure everything is in order for a seamless experience.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, mail, and faxes, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
- Assist patients with any telehealth appointment issues, providing support and solutions to ensure a smooth virtual experience.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reports are completed and addressed promptly, keeping our operations running like a well-oiled machine.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1-2 years' experience in healthcare support preferred
- Must have excellent customer services skills.
- Ability to processes charts and related documents with concrete variables in standardized situations and apply problem solving techniques to those situations that go beyond this scope
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
Compensation for this role ranges from $18-23 per hour depending on education and experience.
