We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Record Collector to join our team. The Medical Record Collector will be responsible for gathering and maintaining accurate medical records for our online training programs. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and organize medical records from various healthcare facilities and providers

- Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of medical records

- Enter and update medical records into our online database

- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or incomplete medical records

- Keep track of deadlines and ensure timely submission of medical records

- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive medical information

- Assist with quality assurance and compliance audits

- Collaborate with the training and development team to ensure accurate and up-to-date medical content

- Stay current with industry regulations and changes in medical record-keeping practices

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in medical record collection or related field

- Knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping practices

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical privacy laws

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with database management systems

- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
