Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting quality patient care behind the scenes? Western Slope Healthcare Center is looking for a dedicated Medical Records Assistant to help maintain accurate, secure, and compliant resident health records.

What You'll Do

As a key part of our team, you will:

• Maintain and organize resident medical records (paper & electronic)
• Ensure charts are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations
• Protect confidential health information in accordance with HIPAA
• Respond to medical records requests and coordinate with staff and agencies
• ️ File, retrieve, and track records efficiently
• Collaborate with nursing, administrative staff, and consultants
• Assist with reports, audits, and documentation processes

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred, not required)
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
