Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Records & Central Supply Coordinator (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. This full-time position plays a key role in maintaining accurate resident records while ensuring nursing staff have the supplies needed to deliver high-quality care.

Position Overview

This dual-role position combines medical records management with central supply coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Records Duties:

  • Sort, prep, scan, and review resident charts
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records
  • Ensure proper identification and handling of all documentation
  • Follow all release of information guidelines and regulations

Central Supply Duties:

  • Order and maintain appropriate stock levels of nursing supplies
  • Accept and verify deliveries against purchase orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical storage area
  • Distribute supplies to nursing units and monitor for overstock

Qualifications

  • Active CNA certification required
  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Skilled nursing facility experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff across departments
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
