Job Title: Medical Sales Account Executive – Oelwein, Iowa

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Medical Sales Account Executive to join our team in Oelwein, Iowa. This critical role presents an excellent opportunity for healthcare sales professionals to establish and expand relationships with healthcare providers, promote innovative medical solutions, and contribute to improved patient outcomes within a dynamic healthcare market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers within a designated 45-mile radius.
  • Identify, develop, and expand referral networks to grow the customer base.
  • Educate physicians, clinicians, and healthcare staff on our medical products and services, emphasizing their benefits and application.
  • Strategically manage accounts to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
  • Close new business by effectively communicating product value propositions and addressing client needs.
  • Track sales activities, maintain accurate CRM records, and report on territory performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success and resolve any service issues.
  • Travel within a 15-20 mile radius to visit clients, attend related industry events, and conduct product demonstrations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Preferred Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare or medical sales experience.
  • Background in respiratory or medical device sales.
  • Leadership or territory management experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and trustworthy manner.

Additional Requirements:
  • Physical ability to lift and carry office or medical equipment as needed.
  • Comfort in engaging in face-to-face client interactions.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and work in various environments.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $43,000 to $48,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
