Tayani Institute is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and knowledgeable Front Office & Scheduler to join our growing and thriving Ophthalmology/Optometry practice Call Center.
Our practice provides a broad array of ophthalmology, optometry, optical, and plastic surgery services. We are a high volume, fast-paced call center offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Job responsibilities for Medical Scheduler are as follows:
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer patients’ questions and give them all information pertaining to all medical and cosmetic procedures provided in our practice.
- Schedule appointments for all patient types.
- Ensure that patients are scheduled with the appropriate doctor and location.
- Efficiently obtain patients’ demographics and insurance information when entering them into the system.

- Comfortable working in a high call volume medical environment
- Excellent customer service skills with friendly verbal & strong written communication skills
- A pleasant attitude is a must
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to determine what the patient needs
- Attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills using Gmail workspace
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- NextGen experience
- Familiarity with medical insurance portals to verify insurance & eligibility for services
- Knowledge of Ring Central application
(Higher pay with NextGen experience)
Compensation details: 18-24 Hourly Wage
