Quantum Pain and Orthopedics is looking for a Bilingual Medical Scheduler/Radiologic Technician to join our team! SUMMARY: The Scheduler/Radiologic Technician is responsible for managing patient check-outs, organizing and scheduling procedures accurately and efficiently, and operating X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment under the direction of the Medical Director/Physician. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Communicate with patients, physicians, and staff regarding procedures and scheduling needs.
- Verify insurance authorizations and ensure all necessary documentation is obtained prior to scheduling.
- Schedule, reschedule, and follow up on patient appointments, procedures, cancellations, and no-shows.
- Provide patients with pre-procedure instructions and coordinate transportation if required.
- Manage patient check-out, including sending prescriptions to pharmacies and updating patient records in eCW.
- Maintain accurate data entry for patient demographics, appointments, procedure confirmations, and daily logs.
- Scan and file patient documents (H&P, Orders, Procedure Notes, Prescriptions) into eCW.
- Submit required documentation to the verification department for pre-authorizations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient forms and documentation.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide administrative support to maintain efficient office operations.

- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment for diagnostic imaging as prescribed by physicians.
- Select appropriate technical factors (kVp, mA) to ensure quality imaging with minimal radiation exposure.
- Position and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify image clarity; retake images when necessary
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of radiographic equipment; report any malfunctions.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are present and operational prior to procedures.
- Implement infection control practices within the imaging area.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies; promptly report and address safety hazards.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - Knowledge of office administration tasks, including scheduling, record management, and data entry.
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and electronic health records (eCW).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of diagnostic radiographic procedures and human anatomy.
- Ability to lift, position and assist patients during X-ray procedures.
- Ability to respond swiftly and appropriately in urgent situations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, maintaining professionalism under stress.
- Ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience in a medical office scheduling setting
- Six (6) months of experience as a Radiology Technician
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
