We are seeking an energetic, intelligent, and motivated individual to join our fast-paced pediatric office as a Medical Scribe. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills in both languages. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.


Position Overview


As a Medical Scribe, you will work directly alongside a pediatrician as their personal assistant, supporting both the physician and patients to help deliver efficient, high-quality care. Responsibilities include documenting patient encounters in the electronic medical records (EMR) system, gathering information for patient visits, and assisting with clinical workflow.


Documentation may include patient histories, physical examinations, visit summaries, and other medical information. The goal is to ensure all patient care activities are accurately documented and completed in a timely manner.


Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history and demographics
• Gather patient information and accurately enter data into the electronic medical records system
• Update and maintain patient medical records
• Assist the physician with documentation and administrative support
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency in all patient records
• Help maintain a smooth workflow in a busy pediatric office environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish required (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, service-oriented attitude
• Social awareness and ability to interact professionally with children and families
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient management software
• Ability to operate medical record software, word-processing programs, and database systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy is a plus
• Experience with E-Clinical medical records system preferred, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree with a pre-health career track preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $22.00 per hour
• Paid time off
