Client Overview:
Our client is a specialty clinic dealing with Spine and Pain Management. They are currently expanding their team and looking to add a Medical Scribe to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr - $28/hr DOE

Position Overview:
The Medical Scribe plays a critical role in supporting physicians and clinical teams by ensuring accurate, timely, and complete documentation of patient encounters. This position focuses on reviewing, editing, and finalizing medical records within the EMR, while collaborating with providers to maintain high documentation standards and support quality patient care.

Responsibilities of the Medical Scribe:
  • Review of physician documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Edit and finalize patient encounter notes within the EMR system.
  • Review operative reports and clinical documentation for clarity and consistency.
  • Communicate with physicians and providers regarding missing, unclear, or incomplete information.
  • Support chart completion and quality assurance workflows.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory and organizational standards.
Required Experience/Skills for the Medical Scribe:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Medical Scribe:
  • Prior experience as a Medical Scribe or in a clinical documentation role.
  • Background in healthcare, life sciences, or pre-medical studies (MD or similar track is preferred).
  • Experience reviewing operative reports or specialty-specific documentation.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and documentation standards.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
