We provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs while following standards of safe radiation practice. We ask that as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer you always demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, and act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. This position would cover clinics in Thornton, Westminster, and Longmont. This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period). This position is used to cover call-offs, vacations, and where coverage may be needed. PRN is not eligible for benefits but does offer a 15% differential on top of the base rate of pay.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
• HS Diploma or GED required • ARDMS - registered required • RDMS (OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR) • ARRT registered R.T. (S) (ARRT) or R.T. (S) (BS) (ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT (VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year or hire • ARRT registered - R.T. (S) (VS) (ARRT) or ARDMS registered RDCS (AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
