Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home, provided by a network of board-certified physicians.

This Medical Specialist position is located within the Outpatient Clinic. The incumbent will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and quality healthcare, providing wide-ranging patient care through various channels including diagnostic testing, treatment planning, discharge planning, case management, referrals, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience or training in patient care or medical records.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Greet and escort patients for routine examinations to the patient clinic rooms while demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Acquires medical histories, vital signs, weight, pulse, blood pressure, respiration, temperature, height, current medication and allergies.
  • Assist practitioners to deliver health care services, treatments, examinations, and procedures for patients with specialized needs in the outpatient setting.
  • Assist with emergency housekeeping and cleaning duties such as mopping up spills, emptying trash and sterilization of equipment. Prepares and cleans room and equipment before and after examinations

Compensation: This position is eligible for shift differential pay of up to $0.95 per hour.
