Additional Information About the Role

St. Louis Children's Hospital has an opportunity for a Medical Staff Services Coordinator. Responsibilities will include managing initial appointments with opportunities to be cross trained in the reappointment process for credentialing. This role will also provide administrative and operational support within the medical staff office.

Hybrid opportunity with expectations to be onsite weekly.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Coordinates the credentialing and privileging process of medical and allied health professional staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and administers the credentialing and privileging process of medical staff members and allied health providers.
  • Prepares credentialing documents and reviews applications to ensure privileges requested meet requirements.
  • Administers and coordinates contract management, scheduling and billing programs.
  • Processes medical staff status changes.
  • Provides medical staff education and facilitates meetings with management as it relates to the medical staff and credentialing process.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

  • < 2 years

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
