Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Medical Support Assistants (MSA) to support the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (North Las Vegas VAMC) located at 6900 N Pecos Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments based on consults and provider orders.
- Provide patient prep instructions.
- Check patients in and out.
- Manage radiology records and virtual file room functions.
- Process CDs and imaging requests.
- Make and receive high-volume phone calls.
- Enter notes, referrals, consults, and scheduling updates in patient records.
- Communicate professionally with Veterans and clinical staff.
Overview
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of post-secondary education is preferred but not required
- Six (6) months of experience in clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability and skills needed for the position
- No sponsorship available
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
