Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred within the last 24 months (2 years).
• ADN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 1-2+ years of general Med/Surg experience. - Experience with venipuncture and Cardizem is required. - Experience with ports, Foley/straight cath, and stable drips is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous travel experience is strongly preferred.
Required Credentials: - An associate degree or certificate is required.
Special Requests: - An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Unit Details: - Patient ratios vary by shift: day shift 1:4, PM shift 1:4/1:5, and NOC shift 1:6, occasionally 1:7.
Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36-48 per week, except during orientation week and when the unit is closed for holidays. - The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - The clinician will float as needed within their skill set to the observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehabilitation, and/or transitional care units. The facility will try to keep the clinician in 1-2 like units, but the clinician may float to another unit.
14 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 7
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
