What Youll Do:
- Provide patient care across MedSurg and Emergency Department settings, including triage and stabilization
- Float between MedSurg and ER, adapting to patient needs as assigned
- Collaborate with a team of 2 nurses, 1 CNA, and 1 staff secretary during shifts
- Maintain patient safety, documentation, and compliance with hospital protocols
- Follow all applicable state and federal regulations, including AHA standards for certifications
- Work within a typical nurse-to-patient ratio around 1:3 to 5:1 depending on acuity
- Use Athena EMR to document patient care activities
What You Need:
- Valid Kansas or multistate RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA)
- Preferably 1+ years of RN experience, including MedSurg or ER
- Ability to float to ER and MedSurg units as needed
- Strong clinical skills, flexibility, and excellent communication
