What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality nursing care for oncology and surgical patients
• Manage central venous catheters and assist with bedside procedures including marrow biopsies
• Administer medications and treatments using barcode medication systems and IV pumps
• Monitor patient conditions and coordinate care plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Support patient education and comfort during treatment stay

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Experience in oncology, hematology, or medical-surgical units
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and related equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:

Join a reputable team caring for hematology, medical oncology, BMT, gynecologic, and surgical oncology patients in a dedicated 7-bed positive pressure unit. This facility features bedside CVC placements, bone marrow biopsies, and state-of-the-art equipment including Alaris IV pumps and barcode medication administration systems. Float coverage and weekend shifts required; prior Epic experience preferred.
