Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 18 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• 12 months of travel experience is preferred.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
• 18 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Will take 1.5 years of experience if from a Level I trauma center or large hospital.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience preferred.
Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. RTO greater than 7 days and/or holiday requests require approval. Parking costs $125/month.
Unit Details: Patients are adults. The unit provides hospice/palliative care, chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, and blood products. Solid tumor cancers include lung, colon, melanoma, brain, urologic, gastric, pancreatic, CNS lymphoma, and non-surgical head and neck cancers. The unit also serves as a hematology overflow unit. Patient staffing ratios are 3-4 on days, 4-5 on nights, and 4 on weekends.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. No call.
Floating Requirements: The clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
