• The pay for this position is: $47.00-$50.00 per hour
• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (night shift)
• Onsite position in Akron, OH 44304
• This position is a: 13-week temporary assignment (40 hours/week)
• Interview required
• Float required

• Provide Med/Surg nursing care for a 28-bed unit serving primarily geriatric patients (65+) , with overflow medical/surgical patients as needed
• Deliver evidence-based, age-friendly care guided by the “4Ms” framework (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, Mobility)
• Perform comprehensive assessments, monitoring, documentation, and care planning for a variety of diagnoses (e.g., infection, pneumonia, CHF, UTI, GI bleed, trauma, AMS/failure to thrive)
• Administer medications and treatments and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient care in Epic
• Assist with phlebotomy needs and draw/maintain IVs as required
• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention practices, and professional standards of care

• Current BLS (must be able to provide card for file)
• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Epic experience within the last 12 months (must be shown on resume or candidate will not be considered)
• Phlebotomy experience and ability to draw/maintain IVs
• Float required
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program ( ACEN or CCNE required )
• Time off rules (RTO):
  • RTO due at time of submission
  • Max 7 days total RTO (more than 7 days = auto-reject)
  • No RTO accepted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
  • No block scheduling accepted
• Documents required for submission: Resume, driver’s license, nursing license, and BLS card
