Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

NOW HIRING: Med-Surg / Telemetry RN – Night Shift Contract

Job Overview

• Specialty: Med-Surg / Telemetry (MS/Tele)

• Shift: Nights

• Patient Ratio: 1:5–1:6

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• On-Call: None

• Floating: Required (within scope to like units)

• Locals: Not accepted (Must reside > 50 miles from main campus)

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele RN experience

• Licensure: Active State RN License required at submission (no pending licenses)

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Submission Requirement: Candidate must provide interview availability upon submission

Contract & System Rules

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; remaining contracted hours guaranteed

• RTO Parameters: Approved per manager's discretion

• Return Staff Policy: Former staff must be gone for at least 1 year to return as a traveler

• Assignment Limit: Maximum 2-contract limit (initial assignment + 1 extension); must be gone for 6 months before returning
