Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
Location: High Point NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12hr Day Shift - 36
Shift Information: 7a-7:30p
Clinical Interviewing- No
On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend Rotation: every other (currently operates Mon-Fri; occasional Saturday need)
Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Floating Requirements: Minimal floating required, however could float to medical surgical unit, if needed

- Trauma Designated in process
- Teaching Hospital
- Chest Pain Center
- Stroke Center
- 24 beds with avg length of stay of 1.2
- Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
- Total Hip and Total Knee replacement
- Bariatric surgery
- Urology surgical patients
- Spine Surgery
- GYN Procedures
- RN: 1:6
- CNA: 1:9
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Resource Team requirement
- Experience with surgical patients
- CNA: Yes at times
- Charge nurse
- Phlebotomy
- IV/VAT Team - No
- Resource Nurse, if needed
- RT 24/7
- Hospitalist 24/7, if needed
- Intensivist 24/7, if needed
- Rapid response RN, if needed
- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
- IV Pump: Alaris
- Med dispensing: Omnicell
- Monitors: Phillips
- Unit specific equipment: NA
- Minimal floating required, however could float to medical surgical unit, if needed
