Full-Time Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) for a full-time opportunity with one of our healthcare partners within travel distance of Junction City, Kansas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys providing hands-on patient care in a collaborative hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable caring for a diverse patient population, managing changing patient needs, and working closely with physicians and other members of the clinical team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

About the Position

• Full-time, permanent Medical-Surgical RN opportunity
• Provide direct nursing care to patients within the Med/Surg unit
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and other clinical findings
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and clinical emergencies
• Follow hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and established safety protocols
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the patient's hospital stay

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Active Kansas RN license or qualifying Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple patients and changing priorities
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality nursing care
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
