Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• BSN completion preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: interpretation of dysrhythmias; management of dysrhythmias. Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Orthopedic experience, including ortho trauma and total joint replacements, is preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Care of orthopedic patients is preferred.
Required Credentials: You must have compact license or MD license.
Special Requests: Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: The unit cares for patients undergoing total joint replacements, spine surgery, abdominal surgeries, and urologic procedures, as well as patients requiring general medicine care. Medication system: Pyxis.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift options are Day (7:00-19:00) and Night (19:00-7:00). Will not be rotated between AM and PM in the same week. Every other weekend required.
7 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
